Employee Spotlight

 

Andrew Ferguson

Probation/Parole Officer III Andrew Ferguson has been employed with the Eighth Judicial District Iowa Department of Correctional Services since 1998 and is a certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional II. Andrew is also a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and has trained justice groups nationally. He has received many accreditations in treatment/behavior management curriculums such as CALM and Breaking Barriers. In addition, he is a co-creator of the District's Conflict Resolution curriculum. Andrew graduated with a master's degree in criminal justice from Saint Ambrose University in 2010. He resides in Middletown, Iowa, with his wife Cara and their pets.
