Jack Briggs

Jack Briggs has been a residential officer at the Ottumwa Residential Correctional Facility since it opened in 1991. Before coming to the 8th Judicial District, Jack worked as a jail administrator in Colorado.

In addition to his normal duties at ORF, Jack developed and oversees the facility’s recycling program, supervises the majority of our community service projects, and is our “go-to man” on maintenance. Jack has been a past president of the Wapello County Sheriff’s Reserve and has many years experience as a volunteer emergency medical technician and a rescue diver.
