Ray Ham graduated from Parsons College
with a bachelor of arts degree in 1973. In August of 1977, he began his
corrections career as a probation officer with what was then known as
the Court Services of the Eighth Judicial District.
Ray worked as a probation/parole officer for 22 years and began serving
as a group facilitator for the sex offender treatment program in 1993.
After graduating from the Argenbright Polygraph International Institute
in 1999, he became the District's first full-time polygraph examiner.
Ray is a full member of the American Polygraph Association. He currently
represents the state of Iowa on the Midwest Regional Polygraph Seminar
committee and has been a speaker at the organization’s annual
conference. In addition, Ray is a member and past president of the Iowa
Polygraph Association, as well as a member of the Iowa Board for the
Treatment of Sexual Abusers and the Iowa Sex Crime Investigators
Association.
