Governor Vilsack signed Executive Order 42, which changed the process
for the restoration of the right to vote and hold public office for
individuals that have lost these rights by virtue of a conviction. For

The High Risk Unit
conducts all home visits of probationers and parolees in the Iowa Eighth
Judicial District. For more information, got to the

left column. The HRU Unit, in conjunction with area law enforcement
agencies, also conducts random safety searches of offenders at all
probation and parole offices throughout the Eighth District. For the
